To stop further delay in the launch of the Zenfone 6 after the recent restrain on the sale or advertising of Zenfone or Zen products by the Delhi High-court. The company has now found a new workaround to the ban by launching the phone under a different name which doesn’t abide the law.
The Asus Zenfone 6 will be launched as the ‘Asus 6z’ on June 19 in India. The company and its e-commerce partner flipkart both have confirmed the name change and the launch of the phone. But, there is no word as to when the phone will be available to users, neither is there any pricing details.
As of rumors, the 6z is expected to be priced pretty much same as the OnePlus 7. However, we cannot say that for sure.
The phone sports a 6.4-inch (1080×2340 pixels) FULL-HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9, and is powered by the Snapdragon 855 SoC. It is further paired with upto 8GB of RAM and 256Gb of internal storage.
The camera comes with a 48MP primary shooter with f/1.79 aperture and a 13MP secondary ultra-wide-angle camera. It is housed in a motorised rotating-slot. Stay tuned on TechBible for more!
